The founder of the Maybach Music record label was found unresponsive and “slobbing at the mouth” in Miami. Medical emergency staff were called and diagnosed him with a possible heart attack manifested as respiratory issues.
The rapper is currently sitting in the Miami medical center. Doctors have reportedly put the rapper on life support, using a machine to take over the functions of his heart and lungs. Reportedly, doctors are also using Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation, or ECMO, which oxidizes the blood outside of the body before sending it back to the heart. In an attempt to calm public concern, Rick’s family and friends have denied the reporting that he’s on ECMO.

Earlier this year the rapper suffered multiple seizures during flights to shows and festivals on two separate occasions. This motivated Ross to lose 100 pounds to gain a healthier lifestyle. Though he has gone through many changes, it would seem that Rick’s health is becoming more and more challenging.
